Lemoine, who served in the capacity of Executive Director of Product Stewardship at Cefic, has been an influential voice in shaping key strategic initiatives. Her domain of influence includes the Chemical Strategy for Sustainability, chemical risk management and assessment, product safety, and devising alternatives to animal testing. Notably, Lemoine led the creation of the Cefic REACH Dossier Improvement Action Plan, aimed at facilitating Cefic members in revising previously submitted REACH registration data.
Speaking on her new role, Lemoine said, “It’s an honour to be part of the drive to realise the EU Green Deal’s objectives. In concert with our colleagues, policy makers and society at large, we’ll grapple with the challenging complexities, with a focus on promoting innovation, fostering responsible practices, and tackling environmental and social issues.”

In her augmented role, Lemoine will shoulder broader responsibilities, guiding Cefic’s vision, fostering stakeholder collaborations, and confronting the diverse challenges and opportunities that the chemical sector presents. She will continue spearheading the formulation and execution of strategies that align with the objectives of the European Green Deal.
