The Alliance Of Her has announced the commencement of nominations for the Women in Politics Champion of the Year Award. This prestigious accolade recognises individuals or organisations that have made significant contributions to advancing liberal women in politics. The award aims to honour those who have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to promoting gender equality and driving real change for women in the political sphere.
The nominations are now open for the annual award, which highlights the outstanding achievements of individuals or organizations in the following areas:
- Advocating for gender equality by promoting liberal women in politics.
- Embodying the vision, mission, and values of the Alliance Of Her.
- Making notable contributions towards achieving tangible progress for women in politics at the local, national, European, or international level.
The previous recipients of the Women in Politics Champion of the Year Award include Sabina Ćudić of Naša stranka, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021, and Kira Rudik of Golos Party, Ukraine in 2022.
Individuals or organizations deserving of this recognition can be nominated until the deadline on Friday, August 25, 2023. The recipient of the award will be announced and presented at the Alliance Of Her Alumnae and Allies Summit scheduled later this year.
