The Brussels branch will be under the leadership of Ko Hanamizu, formerly the head partner of AMT’s Singapore office from 2013 and a seasoned professional in international legal matters. He will be joined by Ryoichi Kaneko, a partner with a rich history of working across European cities like London, Brussels, and Madrid, and a specialization in cross-border M&A/investment and competition law. Additionally, Tokyo's Vassili Moussis, with origins in Brussels, will play a pivotal role in the new office's endeavors.
In branching out to Brussels, AMT aims to leverage its extensive European network, ensuring their clientele receive premium legal services that are synchronized with the latest legal landscapes and transactional practices. The firm’s expertise will span advising on Japanese investments, collaborations with Japanese firms, and a myriad of other legal aspects related to ongoing businesses in Japan.
