Headed by Vice President Gregor Langus, the Brussels competition team will focus on antitrust investigations, merger reviews, competition damages assessment, and arbitration proceedings. Speaking about the expansion, Dr. Langus stated, "Being in Brussels allows us to effectively serve clients across all European jurisdictions. Collaboration with our teams in London and the US, along with our extensive global network, will be integral."
Gregor Langus is a competition economist who supports clients and provides expert testimony in antitrust investigations, merger reviews, competition damages matters, and arbitration proceedings. He previously served in the Chief Economist’s Team in the EC’s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP) for over seven years, in two separate appointments.
Senior Vice President and head of Cornerstone Research’s European competition practice, Liam Colley, emphasized the significance of the expansion, noting its role in enhancing client support in competition and antitrust sectors.
Echoing this sentiment, Dr. Rahul Guha, CEO of Cornerstone Research, said, "The Brussels office reaffirms our dedication to the European market and aims to ensure successful project outcomes."
