Recently FIGIEFA, the international federation and political representative of independent automotive aftermarket distributors towards EU and international institution, launched the first episode of their new podcast series. The series is called Auto-Motives. Hosted by Head of Communications, Álvaro de la Cruz, it will be dedicated to covering key issues of the European and international technical and legislative developments affecting the automotive industry in general and the independent parts and maintenance sector in particular.
In this first episode, the interviewed expert was Alex Gelbcke, CEO of LKQ-Fource. The episode discussed the extremely high importance of adapting the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation (MVBER) to the new reality, with a particular focus on the growing phenomenon of captive parts.
