Czyczerski’s professional journey comprises a series of influential roles. He was the Managing Director of Business & Science Poland, the largest Polish business federation in Brussels, from June 2019 to September 2021. In this role, he was responsible for creating and implementing the organization’s strategy and structure.
Following his role at Business & Science Poland, Czyczerski took on the position of Senior Policy Manager at ERCST – European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition. He led policy analysis and research concerning the European Green Deal related dossiers, honing a particular focus on corporate sustainability, sustainable finance and taxonomy, hydrogen, decarbonisation of transport, and carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS).
Previously, he served at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU, where he held the position of Trade and Economic Counsellor from August 2012 to June 2019. As a member of the EU Trade Policy Committee, Czyczerski represented Polish interests in various aspects of EU trade and investment policy.
Furthermore, he was the Head of Antidumping & Trade Legislation at Poland’s Ministry of Economic Development and Technology from April 2004 to September 2012.
