The Digital Excellence Programme is a world-first programme designed to equip whole civil services with the skills and knowledge to navigate 21st-century challenges using data and digital technologies.
The first two courses developed for the DEP are launching in February: Building a Data Culture in Government and Building a Digital Culture in Government. They have been developed for the Central Digital and Data Office, the UK Cabinet Office and Government Campus by Apolitical and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), together with EY.
The Digital Excellence Programme delivers flexible and engaging module-based learning. These two courses have been designed specifically for senior civil servants in UK central government. They deliver a strong foundation for a wider programme focussed on transforming to a digital culture in government – by building a community of senior leaders genuinely invested in developing their digital and data skills over the long term.
